Summer Internship - Investment Research
Harris Associates is hiring Summer 2026 interns to join its Chicago-based equity research team. Interns will perform public equity valuation, research, and modeling as part of a generalist investing team.
Job description
As part of Harris’ generalist team, interns research public companies, build valuation models, and explore investment theses. They collaborate closely with senior analysts and contribute directly to the firm’s decision-making process.
Responsibilities
- Research and analyze publicly traded companies
- Build financial models and evaluate valuation metrics
- Explore investment theses and present ideas
- Participate in team discussions and critiques
- Complete qualitative and quantitative research projects
Job requirements
- Expected graduation: Fall 2026 – Spring 2027
- All majors welcome — interest in business/investing is key
- Strong writing, analytical, and critical thinking skills
- Intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn
- No prior finance experience required
