Summer Intern – Options Trading
Group One is hiring Summer 2026 interns to join its equity options trading team. Interns receive comprehensive training in trading fundamentals and contribute to real-time market operations.
Job description
Interns will participate in a structured program that includes market theory, game theory, and live trading exposure. You’ll support traders, learn proprietary systems, and engage in simulation-based training on fast vs. slow markets.
Responsibilities
- Support floor and electronic trading teams with real-time tasks
- Use internal tools to track theoretical values and positions
- Communicate effectively with traders, vendors, and clearing partners
- Participate in technical and behavioral training
- Learn to anticipate market shifts and manage risk exposure
Job requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Math, Physics, Engineering, CS, Econ, or related field
- Must be returning to school after internship (i.e., not graduating summer 2026)
- Strong quantitative and game theory skills
- Effective communication and fast decision-making
- Interest in financial markets and trading dynamics
