Assurance Intern – Information Systems Assurance
BDO is hiring Summer 2026 interns in Dallas for its Information Systems Assurance team. Interns will gain exposure to IT audits, Sarbanes-Oxley reviews, and ERP systems.
Job description
Interns will assist with documenting IT and application controls, conducting walkthroughs, preparing workpapers, and supporting audits of ERP systems and IT environments.
Responsibilities
- Assist with SOX-based internal control reviews
- Document walkthroughs and control testing results
- Prepare formatted workpapers and audit documentation
- Research and analyze ERP systems and IT environments
- Communicate with client teams and internal audit staff
Job requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Information Systems, or Computer Science
- Master’s in Information Systems preferred
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office; ERP systems experience preferred
- Leadership or internship experience a plus
