Summer Analyst - Private Equity
StepStone Group is hiring 2026 Summer Analysts in New York for its Private Equity investment team. Interns support diligence, modeling, and deal evaluation across secondaries, co-investments, and fund investments.
Job description
As a Summer Analyst, you’ll join a collaborative team investing across fund strategies, secondary markets, and direct deals. You’ll perform due diligence, build financial models, and support investment decision-making at one of the world’s top private markets platforms.
Responsibilities
- Analyze co-investment and secondaries opportunities
- Conduct fund due diligence across sectors and regions
- Build financial models and prepare investment memos
- Participate in investment committee discussions
- Conduct macro and market trend research
Job requirements
- Graduation: December 2026 – June 2027
- 3.5+ GPA preferred
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Strong quantitative and modeling skills
- Interest in private equity, funds, and global investing
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
