Jefferies is hiring off-cycle interns for its Private Credit Investment team in London. Start date is April/May 2025. Interns support origination, underwriting, and business development.

Job description

This off-cycle internship provides immersive exposure to the underwriting and management of private credit investments. Interns will collaborate with professionals from Jefferies Finance and Jefferies Credit Partners, supporting the evaluation of sponsor-backed transactions and leveraged loan portfolios.

Responsibilities

Assist in evaluating leveraged loan and private credit opportunities

Support origination and underwriting of direct lending deals

Conduct market and sponsor research

Prepare credit memos and investment materials

Work on portfolio management and credit fund analytics

Job requirements

Graduation date on or before April 2025

Strong analytical and communication skills

Ability to work independently and in teams

Attention to detail and technical proficiency

Fluency in French, German, Dutch, or a Nordic language is a plus

Background in finance or accounting helpful, but not required
