Summer Internship - Private Equity

The Carlyle Group is hiring Summer 2025 Analysts for its Private Equity platform. Interns will gain practical experience in investment evaluation, due diligence, and portfolio company support.

Job description

Summer Analysts will contribute to all stages of the investment process. You’ll work on live transactions, conduct industry and financial research, help prepare internal and external presentations, and support strategic initiatives across portfolio companies.

Responsibilities

Conduct market and industry research

Assist with due diligence and valuation work

Build and analyze financial models

Prepare investment committee materials

Monitor portfolio performance and track KPIs

Job requirements

Undergraduate student graduating in 2026

Strong interest in private equity, investing, and corporate finance

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

Prior internship or coursework in finance preferred
